Tuition

DRUMSCHOOL wants you to become a GREAT MUSICIAN… who just so happens to be a drummer!

All Drumschool Belfast tuition is on a one-to-one basis and therefore is tailored to individual needs within a general structure that can include graded exam syllabus courses, if required, as well as so much more!

With over 25 years of teaching experience privately and in schools plus over 40 years of performing and recording experience you can be assured your tuition will be of the highest professional standards. Helping you achieve your goals as a musician – whether that means to aim at graded exams, develop better playing technique, understand advanced styles such as Latin and Jazz OR to simply learn to play drums to your favourite rock songs, Drumschool Belfast can cover it all…!

Drumschool Belfast uses top of the range professional equipment and time-tested techniques along with an extensive library of around 70 tuition and syllabus books (…and counting).

Drumschool Belfast also has every issue of RHYTHM MAGAZINE since December 2003, including ALL the PLAYALONG CDs. That means 100’s of real song play-alongs (including charts) and 100’s more generic backing tracks covering styles ranging from easy pop to Jazz, Latin, Fusion and tricky time signatures, etc. This invaluable and unique tuition resource is, we believe, one of the best in Ireland for anyone wanting to learn the widest range of genres and styles that the modern drummer needs to play.

We can discuss your aims and goals at an initial lesson and then make a plan of action unique to you!

For graded exams, tuition covers the general structure of the CCEA accredited Rockschool syllabus. Essentially structured as 4 levels from Foundation through to Professional.

Drumschool Belfast has seen many students fulfill their ambitions by successfully graduating through each level to becoming Professional players.
